
Theresa Petraszak is a Paraplanner at Henker Financial Partners, where she supports the development of comprehensive financial plans and helps ensure each client’s strategy is thoughtful, organized, and easy to understand.
With a background in law, Theresa brings an added layer of perspective when it comes to estate planning and navigating life’s more complex transitions. Her experience allows her to approach planning with both technical insight and an understanding of the personal impact financial decisions can have.

Theresa began her career in the legal field, where she saw firsthand how a lack of financial planning can create stress and uncertainty during already difficult times. That experience inspired her to transition into financial planning, where she could take a more proactive role in helping individuals and families feel prepared, informed, and supported.

Giving back is an important part of Theresa’s life. She is active with Westerville Sunrise Rotary, where she has served in multiple leadership roles, including President, Vice President, Secretary, and Foundation Grant Coordinator. She also volunteers with CHA Animal Shelter, supports youth as an assistant running coach for a local kids’ running club as well as her children’s cross-country team, and serves as an instructor with the I-Can Program, a school-based initiative that helps students develop confidence, social skills, and positive relationships. Theresa previously served on the board of the Wishing Star Foundation as Secretary.
Theresa lives outside Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, Joshua, their two children, and two cats. She enjoys reading, running, volunteering, and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks and Marquette men’s basketball. A devoted Disney fan, she and her husband were married at Walt Disney World and celebrated their 20-year vow renewal aboard a Disney cruise.
